This Easter, LaManna has a bueno way for Victorians to support the Royal Children's Hospital's Good Friday Appeal

LaManna is once again getting behind the Good Friday Appeal as an official partner to raise funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital through the sale of its limited-edition Bueno Lamington Bites, and a fun-filled day of activities for the whole family at its Essendon Fields mega store on 3 April (Good Friday).

 

Renowned as a ‘10,000m² food shopping heaven’, LaManna’s Easter Family Festa will feature Easter egg hunts, jumping castle, mechanical bull, face painting, balloon twisting and opportunities to taste some of the team’s favourite goodies, with 100% of proceeds from both the lamingtons and Festa ticket sales going directly to the Good Friday Appeal.

 

Tickets to join in the festivities for this valuable cause cost $35 per person and need to be pre-booked via the link on LaManna’s website to a Trybooking page. Every child will receive an Easter basket filled with treats and surprises, with raffle prizes to be won throughout the day. [Please note that the store will not be open for normal trade on Good Friday.]

 

LaManna CEO Patrick LaManna said supporting the Royal Children’s Hospital is a cause that’s very close to his family’s heart, after his daughter received care there at just six months old while suffering from meningitis.

 

“We are forever grateful to the Royal Children’s Hospital for the care and attention they showed our little girl when she was sick as a baby, who is now seven and thriving thanks to their incredible team,” Patrick said.

 

“The work, resources and world-class treatment that the Royal Children’s Hospital provides ill and injured children and their families is so admirable – and now it’s our turn to give back.

 

“For the past 15 years, we have raised over $400,000 for the Good Friday Appeal at LaManna by creating a new product specifically for the campaign each year. This year we’ve launched our Bueno Lamington Bites and 100% of proceeds will be donated to the Appeal for every pack sold between now and Good Friday.

 

“We’ve set a fundraising target of $75,000 this year and are excited to see our community rally behind such a meaningful cause once again.”

• Each child attending will receive an Easter basket filled with treats and surprises to take home.
• Between now and Good Friday, shoppers can purchase limited-edition Bueno Lamington Bites ($11 for a 10-pack), with 100% of proceeds also going to the Good Friday Appeal. The coconut-sprinkled treats comprise classic sponge, dark and white chocolate ganache with a delicious Bueno filling.
