STEPS Pathways Charity has wrapped up its 2026 Steps for STEPS campaign, raising $42,925 for transformative independence education for young people with a disability and autism through STEPS Pathways College.

The annual fundraising campaign culminated in a 24km walk across the Sunshine Coast in a single day, with STEPS Pathways College students and team members travelling from Maroochydore to the college campus in Caloundra. The group was joined by staff from Resolve Fitness, as well as HOT 91.1 radio hosts Nugget and Sam, and supported by STEPS Pathways Charity sponsors, including presenting partner Caloundra RSL.

STEPS Pathways Charity Manager Katrina May said the campaign proves the power of community.

“We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our supporters, who believe in our mission to create a brighter future for our STEPS Pathways College students and contribute significant funds to make these futures possible,” Ms May said.

“We can’t wait to do it all again next year and continue showing everyone just how far the belief in a better, more inclusive world can take you,” she said.
