The 2025 World Business Forum Sydney has wrapped up another hugely successful edition, confirming its position as the premier gathering for business leaders, innovators, and senior executives across Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia-Pacific region.

Held at the ICC Sydney, the two-day event brought together over 2,500 delegates from a diverse range of industries, all seeking insights, inspiration, and practical strategies to navigate today’s unpredictable business landscape.

Under the 2025 theme “The Power of the Unpredictable,” attendees heard from some of the world’s most respected business and leadership thinkers on how to turn uncertainty into opportunity.

Building on this success, WOBI has announced that the World Business Forum Sydney 2026 will return to the ICC Sydney on 5th and 6th November 2026, promising another unforgettable experience that challenges and inspires senior leaders to think differently and lead with purpose.

The first speakers confirmed for the 2026 edition include an exceptional line-up of global leaders and visionaries.

Carl Lewis, one of the greatest athletes in history and a nine-time Olympic gold medallist, will headline the event, sharing lessons on discipline, resilience, and the pursuit of excellence.

Former Chairman and CEO of Hewlett-Packard, Carly Fiorina, will draw from her experience leading one of the world’s largest technology companies through complex change to explore the power of values driven leadership.

Ayanna Howard, a trailblazer in robotics and AI, will take to the stage to provide insight into how emerging technologies are reshaping industries and human potential.

While, Welby Altidor, former Executive Creative Director of Cirque du Soleil, will explore creativity, innovation, and the courage to embrace the unknown. Scott D. Anthony, Professor of Strategy and a leading authority on disruptive innovation, will share actionable frameworks for future focused strategy and transformation.

Social psychologist and expert in organisational culture, Mary C. Murphy, will address how leaders can foster growth mindsets and adaptive teams in times of change.

Rounding out the first roster of speakers is former Chief Brand Officer at Mattel, Lisa McKnight known globally for revitalising the Barbie brand and redefining purpose driven marketing in the modern age.

Over two immersive days, delegates will have the opportunity to learn directly from global authorities across leadership, innovation, strategy, and human performance, while networking with some of the most influential business minds in the Asia-Pacific region.
